Government bonds are issued in accordance with the delegation referred to in Article 3 of Law no. 158 of 22 December 2025, "BUDGETS OF THE STATE AND PUBLIC ENTITIES FOR THE 2026 FINANCIAL YEAR AND MULTI-YEAR BUDGETS FOR 2026/2028".
For 2026, government bonds are expected to be issued for a total amount of EUR 450,000,000.00 (four hundred and fifty million euros), to be placed on the domestic and international markets.
The characteristics, maturity and redemption terms of government bonds are defined by ad-hoc regulations under Article 4 of Law no. 142 of 13 November 2025.
